Article 1 - Scope
These general conditions of sale apply to all sales made through the website for items sold and shipped by Blue Star Quilting.
We reserve ownership of the item until payment of the full price and the corresponding accessories (Law No. 80.335 of May 12, 1980).
In the event of total or partial non-payment of the price on the due date, for any reason whatsoever, we can demand, as of right and without formality, the return of the item at the expense and risk of the buyer. This restitution does not constitute the termination of the sale.
Subject to typographical errors, we guarantee the veracity of the characteristics and prices of our articles. All logos and brands are registered by their respective owners; The photos are not contractual. Our prices and characteristics are only indicative and are subject to change without notice. All our prices are indicated in Euros all taxes included (TTC).
Promotional items will not be returned or exchanged.

Once your order has been entered on the Blue Star Quilting website, a confirmation email will be sent to you and your order will be registered.
Article 3 - Price
The price is payable in full and in a single payment when ordering. All orders are invoiced in Euros and payable in Euros. For any delivery outside mainland France, any customs charges or local taxes remain the responsibility of the recipient.
Article 4 - Shipping costs
All orders are shipped by La Poste, Colissimo. The shipping costs include a contribution to the costs of preparation, packaging and postage costs. The shipping rate is from 4.99 Euros for Metropolitan France depending on the weight of the package.
For deliveries to international destinations, shipping costs are calculated in the real weight of the package.
Your order will be shipped by letter or Colissimo rate. Colissimos have an indicative delivery time of 2 working days minimum. This package will be delivered to the letterbox (depending on dimensions) without signature and is not insured (minimum fixed insurance is provided in the event of loss proven by La Poste, but in no case may be invoked in the event of deterioration or theft. and other damage that could degrade the items shipped). Reshipment of the order in the event of loss, theft or damage will be repaid in full by the recipient.
For shipping outside mainland France (DOM TOM, International): your order will be shipped by international Colissimo. The indicative delivery times are 4 to 8 working days. This package will be delivered against signature and is insured at its invoiced value.
Consider grouping all your items on a single order. We will not be able to combine two separate orders and the shipping costs will be invoiced to you for each of them.
We are not responsible for any customs duties for delivery to certain countries. Customers will not be able to request reimbursement of the costs incurred by this delivery. This mainly includes deliveries to countries outside the European Union.
Article 5 - Delivery
Whether you order from France or abroad, we can deliver to your home, or to a different delivery address if specified. We invite you to consult the previous article "Shipping costs" to know the shipping methods, their prices and the associated times, which we offer by destination.
Shipments are made Monday through Friday subject to the availability of all items ordered.
Any delays (in processing the order or in delivery) cannot result in cancellation, damage and interest or compensation, or reimbursement of the shipping costs invoiced. No complaint on delivery of more than 8 days can be accepted.
The items ordered travel at the risk and peril of the recipient.
No order can be delivered or deposited at an address other than the one given as the "delivery address" (it is impossible to deliver the package to the neighbor in the event of absence). La Poste reserves the right, in the event of absence at the first presentation, to represent the parcel a second time or to leave a transit advice note in your letterbox (the parcel must then be collected at the post office on which you depend. ).
In the event of a return of a shipment for an incorrect delivery address (incorrect entry by the customer), the order may be reshipped at actual costs, the recipient having to repay the actual shipping costs calculated on the weight of your order (the package no. is, in this case, more applicable).
Article 6 - Items damaged on delivery
The items ordered are checked by us and then packaged in the best conditions. If you notice an anomaly following the delivery of your order, you must follow the complaints procedure.
Any complaint from the recipient on the delivery of his order must be made within 3 working days with the carrier, according to article L133-3 of the Commercial Code. In the case of delivery against signature, if, on delivery, the exterior appearance of the package is heavy (cardboard pressed, torn, rescotché by La Poste), you must open your package in the presence of the delivery person to check the condition. of the package and make a reservation on the slip to be signed. In the case of a delivery without delivery against signature, you will have to go within 48 hours of delivery to your post office to have the damage noted and complete a report with the person in charge.
If an item in your order is damaged or destroyed, we will need a photo taken by you showing on the same plane the damaged item (damage clearly visible) placed on the outer box with the shipping label clearly visible. This photo will serve as proof of damage and will allow the opening of an investigation file following the report of the delivery person or the completed report, with Coliposte in charge of delivery. This procedure is mandatory and essential so that we can process your complaint as quickly as possible. Without observation of the damage, no file for compensation can be opened, our responsibility cannot be invoked, since the package travels at the expense and risk of the recipient. Compensation by forwarding a new item will only be granted after acceptance of the file by La Poste. In the case of a flat-rate shipment, the compensation may not be full, the customer not having taken out the insurance offered in the shipment by Colissimo EXPERT. The difference not covered can then be claimed. Whatever the situation, any claim made beyond the legal deadline of 3 days after delivery of the order cannot be processed.
Article 7 - Payment
You have several payment methods offering maximum security guarantees. You can adjust:
- By bank transfer, using our bank account information given when the payment method is validated.
- By Paypal.
- By check in Euros, clearable in a French bank, payable to Alexia Rosfelder. Send your check on the back of which you will have entered the number assigned at the end of the order, to the following address:

Please note: if you choose to pay by check, the order will only be processed upon receipt of it and the announced deadlines will start from that moment. If we do not receive your check within 10 days of the date of your order, your order will be canceled and items previously reserved will be relisted.
Sending cash is strongly discouraged. The customer remains responsible at all times for such shipment and its security. Alexia Rosfelder cannot be held responsible for any loss or theft of such a shipment.
Orders are only shipped after full payment of their value, advance payment for which no discount is applied. Only a price proposal commits Alexia Rosfelder.
Article 8 - Guarantee
Items supplied by Blue Star Quilting are new and guaranteed to be free from defects at the time of delivery. If it happens that an item is defective or non-compliant, we will replace it for you.
The buyer is required to check whether the delivered goods comply with his order before using them. In the event of a delivery error, we undertake to repair this error as soon as possible and with a minimum of inconvenience for the recipient. In this case, any error must be reported within 8 days of receipt of the package.
Any return of defective products under warranty must be subject to prior agreement from Alexia Rosfelder. Any returned product must be in perfect condition, in its original packaging; it must not include any inscription and no signs of wear. All accessories must be returned with the product.
You can send your return package, in standard mode, to the items concerned, along with the corresponding invoice from Alexia Rosfelder, within 8 days of receipt of the package to:

The return costs will be reimbursed to you by a purchase voucher without time limit (within the limit of the cost of sending in standard mode according to our shipping cost rate available in Article 4 of these conditions of sale). The replacement will take place very quickly and in any case within a maximum period of 1 month from the customer's request. No cash on delivery will be accepted, whatever the reason.
The commercial guarantee that we offer you is the manufacturer's guarantee. The warranty period which is included in the prices is that mentioned in the descriptive information of the product on the site. It takes effect on the date of receipt of the package for the period mentioned on the product sheet. It covers the repair of the device (parts and labor). The implementation of this contractual guarantee assumes normal use of the device and good maintenance according to the manufacturer's instructions accompanying the product. The implementation of this commercial warranty is also subject to the absence of intervention by a third party not approved by the manufacturer. Wear parts (such as bulbs, tubes, batteries, etc.) are excluded from the warranty.
In the event of a breakdown, deemed irreparable by the technicians delegated by the manufacturer, and as far as possible, a standard exchange will be offered.
In the presence of apparent defects, the buyer, upon delivery, has the right of return under the conditions specified below in the paragraph "Satisfied or Reimbursed".
Article 9 - Exchanged or refunded
In this context of Respect for the customer according to the rules of the Professional Code and the Quality Charter of the Federation of Distance Selling Companies, you benefit in particular from a right of return: whatever the reason, you can return to us an item within 14 days of receiving your package.
Any return must be subject to prior agreement from Alexia Rosfelder. The shipping and return costs are then your responsibility. The shipping method is at your convenience. In the event of loss or damage to the return, this remains the responsibility of the sender of the return. We recommend that you use a tracked shipping method.
Warning: this guarantee does not apply to immediately reproducible products: books, magazines, sheets, as well as kits will not be returned or exchanged. Items on sale or on sale will not be returned or exchanged. All items that have been cut (patchwork fabrics, embroidery fabrics, embroidery bands, etc.) will not be returned or exchanged. Any special order validated by the payment of a deposit cannot be canceled, taken back or exchanged.
Any return will be subject to an exchange or a voucher valid for 2 months of the value of the returned item. In all cases, the initial shipping costs as well as the return costs remain the responsibility of the recipient. For any return without prior agreement or if the returned item is not in perfect condition, we reserve the right to return the item against reimbursement, payment of all costs being the responsibility of the customer.
Article 10 - Liability
Alexia Rosfelder disclaims all liability in the event of breach of contract due to force majeure (strike, flood, fire, etc.).
Article 11 - Applicable law
All the clauses appearing in these general conditions of sale, as well as all the purchase and sale operations referred to therein, will be subject to French law. Any dispute or dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Strasbourg commercial court.
Article 12 - Customer acceptance
The present general conditions of sale as well as the prices are expressly approved and accepted by the customer, who declares and acknowledges having a perfect knowledge of them. He therefore waives the right to invoke any contradictory document and, in particular, his own general purchasing conditions. The act of purchase implies acceptance of these general conditions of sale.
